[Yorkshire Post and Leeds Intelligencer, Thursday 03 June 1937. Scutt-Richardson. The wedding took place at St. Catherine's Church, Barmby Moor, near Pocklington, yesterday, Mr. Arthur Calvert S. Scutt, son of Mr. & Mrs. J Scutt, Elm Tree Farm, Eastrington, Howden, and Miss Marjorie Richardson, eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. H Richardson, Thornton House, Barmby Moor. The Rev. A E Sturdy (Vicar of Barmby Moor) and the Rev. H Firby (Vicar of Eastrington) officiated. The bride wore a gown of Ivory angel lace, Tudor rose design, and had six attendants - four principal bridesmaids. Miss Mary Richardson, Miss Joan Hewitt (York), Miss Richardson and Miss Blanche Richardson, and two smaller attendants, Miss Greta Taylor and Miss Mary Watson. The best man was Mr. James B Wallis (Worksop).] [A C S S living in 2002 at Elm Croft, Westfield Lane, Eastrington, Goole, North Humberside.]
