Poznámky Western Gazette, Somerset, Friday 07 May 1948. 1,500 Entries from Three Counties Youth Festival at Poole Bournemouth District Methodist Awards. There were nearly 1,500 entries from Methodist youth organisations of Hants., Dorset and Somerset at the Bournemouth District Youth Festival held at Poole Methodist Church on Saturday. Classes included such various activities as music, elocution, public reading, folk dancing, cookery, drawing and handicrafts. There were also essay competitions on biblical subjects, church membership and youth club activities, while two classes were devoted to missionary work. Crafts (judge, Mr. A. G.
