William Wheate 1594-

Nòtas William Wheate was from a wealthy family of merchants of Warwickshire, with many ties to London. He evidently was educated as a student at the Middle Temple and before 1634 removed to Glympton, Oxfordshire. William Wheate was the only son of William Wheate in 1634 and had at least two sisters named Ann and Elizabeth. William Wheate was still alive in 1657 and states Master William Wheate is a merchant of London.
