Rowe and Hayward) held their Court for the revision of the lists of voters for this city, at the Council Chamber, on Monday, and concluded on Friday afternoon. Mr. Housman appeared in support of the voters in Capt. Bouverie's interest, and Messrs. Cobb and Alford for Mr. Wyndham's. The following were the most important cases, and were decided after considerable discussion:(inc.)James Skutt question rating disallowed] [Salisbury and Winchester Journal, Monday 17 November 1834. On Wednesday last, John Cother, Esq., took the oaths of office, as Mayor of this city, for the year ensuing. The following are the Constables for the ensuing year:- Sub Constables inc. Mr. James Skutt, Church Street.] [Salisbury and Winchester Journal, Monday 05 October 1835. Court of the revising Barristers. The objection to the Rev. Geo. Radcliffe was withdrawn. The votes Thos. Sawkins, James Skutt, J. W. Wooff, and John Lodge were admitted. The case of Mr. Boucher, of the Close, occupied the Court a considerable time ------- -------.]
