Lawrence William Scutts 1913-2009

Notes Twin. Clio, MI -> Naples, FL -> MI. Lawrence W. Scutts of Frankenmuth, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Saginaw. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2009 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Rev. Roger Gedcke officiating. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Lawrence Scutts was born June 15 1913 in Clio to the late Charles and Ethel (Boulton) Scutts. He lived most of his life in Clio before moving to Frankenmuth in 2007. He married Maxine Jenkins in 1971. She preceded him in death in 1995. Mr. Scutts retired from General Motors in 1972 with 30 years seniority and was a member of the UAW. Surviving are: twin sister Laura Blumenthal of West Branch; step-daughter, Nina (Paul) Van Gilder of Fenton; nephew David (Sandra) Blumenthal of Alpena.
