George Edward Scutt, served on HMS Gloucester during WW2, but was taken off the ship just before it sunk, in May 1941. Instead, he was based in Alexandria on shore-based work, just a few weeks before the ship was sunk.

E S lived most of her adult life in Huddersfield. She had at least 3 husbands, her last husband was called Rothwell, and her death record gives Eva Rothwell, born 1917, as dying in Huddersfield in March 1992. She had at least 6 daughters, including Pamela & Sandra - though none by husband Rothwell.

7-2a:

Passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012, aged 71; a much loved husband, father and grandad. The funeral service will take place at Barnsley Crematorium, Ardsley on Monday, July 23rd, 2012, at 11.30am. Rotherham Advertiser 2012 Jul 18.
