Artist, oil painter, rifle maker, hand engraver, musician, friend. Resident of Hendersonville, TN, and a farm at Whitleyville, Clay County, TN. Juvenile years at Huntingburg, Martinsville, New Castle, Indiana. Son of Dr. George Scutt, Jr, & Iva Mae (Roberts) Scutt, both of Bloomington, IN. Many happy memories of grandfather George Augusta Scutt, and grandmother Anna (Blick) Scutt, Bloomington. First Baptist Nashville, and Campground United Methodist Church, Clay County, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Janet Sue (Horace) Harper; niece, Christy (Brandon) Brown; nephews George Eric Harper, Philip Hooper, and Barry Hooper. Burial in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. |
