[10 Jul 1655 John Scutt of Brampton, a Bruister who through malice poisoned Skeiles wife's well who was another Bruister and fearing the rigor of the Law wch was beegun to bee excecuted against him, hee fled away, but returning privealye home hee died very suddainly beinge vehementlye suspected by many peremptory signs & tokens, that the very same destruction wch hee had invented against others was his owne death & ruine according to that of ye Scripture p'verbs 26. 27, ps 57, 6 Ecclesi 10. 8.] [Johannes Skutt.]
