[Bath Chronicle and Weekly Gazette Sat 03 Aug 1929. A Motorist's Oversight. William Randolph Scutt, 5 Avenue, Redland, commercial traveller, was summoned to Bath on Monday for driving a motor car in Newbridge Hill without a current driving license on July 11th. P.C. Bransgrove proved the case, and said tbe defendant told him it was an oversight. A fine of 20s. was imposed. Sir Harry Hatt was chairman of the Bench.] [North Devon Journal (1941 Feb 06) Vera Wallis, of Lynton, for failing to immobilize a car, was fined £1.
