Bristol Burglars Carry Away Empty Till. Raiders broke into premises of Messrs Scutt, provision merchants, Cheltenham Road, Bishopston, Bristol and succeeded in carrying away a cash till that weighed one and a half cwts., only to find that it contained nothing. A workman later saw a till floating in the Feeder Canal and recovered it. It was subsequently ascertained to be the one missed from Messrs Scutts. The burglary was discovered by an assistant.
