William George Scutt 1894-1916

Note W G S - 21yr. son of Jane and the late William S of County Oak, Crawley. William George Scutt was Private G/2389 in the Royal Sussex Regiment, 8th Battalion. He was born in Ifield but enlisted in Horsham. William Scutt was killed in action during the Battle of the Somme on Thursday 13th July 1916 aged 21.
