Notes [A W C S (known as William Scutt) - 48yr.] [Evening Telegraph - Wednesday 05 January 1927. Scout Chiefs Death Premonition. Mr W. A. Carey Scutt, of Ravensbourne Avenue, Bromley, a Scout commissioner, who has just died after an operation at the Beckenham Cottage Hospital, apparently had a premonition of death. Local Scoutmasters recalled that the last Scout meeting Mr Scutt said he wanted to see the troop in good order in case something should happen to him. After that meeting his daughter Ruth, a Girl Guide leader, was run over a motor omnibus, and is now in London hospital. Mr Scutt was admitted to hospital suffering, it is stated, from acute gastric poisoning.]
