Notes Mirror News [2013 May 10], A bogus travel agent was jailed yesterday for tricking hard-up families into buying holidays that did not exist. Jessica Scutt, 27, advertised seaside caravan holidays online, with trips to theme parks included in the price. At least 13 families travelled hundreds of miles to resorts such as Tenby and Pendine in West Wales but found no caravan. Five children looking forward to their first beach holiday were taken home sobbing by a couple who were among Scutt's victims. Caerphilly magistrates court heard she set up the phoney business to pay for a deposit on a house. Scutt, of Ynysddu, �Caerphilly, was jailed for eight months after admitting four charges of fraud and was ordered to pay her victims �2,575 compensation. Magistrates chairman Ronald Coldbourne told her: "While you re in prison I hope you have time to think about all the pain you have caused."
