Francis Barrow, Thomas White Scutt, esq. of Lewes, a Magistrate and Deputy Lieutenant of the county, to Catherine Ann, eldest daughter of John Ellman, esq. of Glynde. Wife Catherine Scutt and the three children left him long before he died. For at least seven years, Mrs. Catherine Scutt had lived with her brother at Berwick before leaving to make a home for herself.
