The funeral took place yesterday of Hannah Elizabeth Scutt, wife of Mr. Edward Scutt of 8 Priory Gate Road, who died on July the 12th at the age of 59 years, "loved by all". The Rev. C. S. M. Playfair officiated. The mourners present were Mr. E. C. Scutt (husband), Mr. Ted Scutt (son), Mrs. Edwards, Mrs. Marsh and Miss Ivy Scutt (daughters). Mr W. Johnston (brother), Mrs. Walters (sister), Mr. C. S. Scutt (brother in law), Mr. Edwards and Mr. Marsh (sons in law). The following Marine Porters acted as bearers:- Messrs J. Hambrook, W.J. Pain, A. F. Whitnall, J.Sisely, J. H. Hudson, C. Beale and E. Greve. The funeral took place on Saturday, at Charlton Cemetery, of Mr. Edwin Charles Scutt, Dock Checker, Southern Railway, whose death occurred on April 6th, his residence, 8 Priory Gate Road, at the age of sixty-eight years. The Rev, J. Lee was the officiating clergyman and the mourners present were: Mr. Edwin Scutt and Mr. Alfred Scutt (sons), Mrs. T. P. Edwards and Mrs. T. (daughters), Mr. Charles Scutt (brother), Mr. H. T. Edwards and Mr. W. Spice (sons-in-law), and Mrs. E. Scutt (daughter-in-law).
