Draft Will 14 November 1798. 1)Mary Howes (wife ?of James Howes) all freehold messuage, tenement etc., situate in West Street called the Swan; all monies due; goods, chattels, rights, credits and personal estate. 2)Thomas Scutt and Charles Scutt (nephews) all freehold messuages, farms, lands etc., called Glantowy and Blaenufrwd in parishes of Abergwilly and Newchurch in county of Carmarthen, South Wales, in occupation of Walter Rees and David Walter, to hold forever as tenants in common, not joint tenants; all capital stock in 3 per cent Consols, bank annuities and other public funds and security for �300 on the tolls of the Horsham and Steyning turnpike to be equally divided between them; all my goods, chattels and personal estate subject to legacy (below). 3)Seymour Scutt and Powell Scutt (nephews) an annuity of �20 to be paid half-yearly, chargeable on above.
