Merricks-Scutt, on August 10th, at the Congregational Church, Dover, George Albert Merricks (police constable), Dover, to Edith Ellen, only daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Scutt, 2 Priory Gate Road, Dover. Dover Express, Kent, Friday 12 August 1910. On Wednesday afternoon the wedding of Miss Edith Scutt, daughter of Inspector Scutt, of the Dover Police Force, and P.C. G. A. Merricks, took place at the Congregational Church. The Rev. G. Walker performed the ceremony.
