ANXIOUS TO SETTLE HERE. All the travellers expressed appreciation of the arrangements made in Australia for their comfort and welfare, and said they had heard glowing reports of the Far North and were looking forward to new lives here. Mr. Sellers, who was sponsored by Mr. E. Barnes, of Cairns, will work with the contracting firm of Kynaston's here. Mr. M. L. Scutt, who is accompanied by Mrs. Scutt and child, will take up residence at Millaa Millaa. He came from Sussex and with the other new Australians arrived in the vessel Somersetshire. He said that he had been three years waiting to migrate to Australia, and that there were great numbers in England still seeking passages. All the new arrivals said that they had been splendidly catered for on the long train journey from Brisbane, but that our trains "were rather different from those in England." Mr. & Mrs. M. L. Scutt and child nominated by Mr. C. D. Alcorn, Palm Avenue, Millaa Millaa.]
