[Dover Express, Kent Fri 28 Jan 1921. Scutt - On January 15th, 8 Priory Gate Road, Dover, Louisa Henrietta Scutt, passed peacefully away after much suffering.] [Dover Express, Kent, Friday 28 January 1921. Funeral of Miss Scutt. The funeral took place on Saturday, at Charlton Cemetery, Miss Louisa Henrietta Scutt, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Edwin Scutt, of 8 Priory Gate Road, who died January 15th, aged 27 years. The Rev. C. W. B. Cobb officiated. The deceased was borne to the graveside by the following members of the Marine Porters staff, S.E. and C.R.: Messrs. L. Hambrook, G. Landall, A. Whitnall and C. Beale. The mourners present were Mr. and Mrs. E. Scutt (father and mother), Miss Ivy Scutt (sister), Mr. T. Scutt (brother), Mr. & Mrs. Edwards (brother-in-law & sister), Mr. & Mrs. Marsh (brother-in-law & sister). Floral tributes were sent from Dad & Mother; Harry; Ted & Ivy; Florrie & Bert; Cissie & Walter; Mr. Scutt's watch; Mrs. W. Pinnock; Mr. & Mrs. White; employees of the Dover Marine Station; Mr. & Mrs. D. Clark; Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Tickner; .and Mr.& Mrs. Deverson - Shakespeare Inn. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Venner & Son, of 39 High Street.] [Mr. & Mrs. Scutt and family, of 8 Priory Gate Road, wish to thank all kind friends for their sympathy shown their recent sad bereavement, and especially Dr. Elliot for his kind attention to her for for the past 6 1/2 years.] [Fri 13 Jul 1923, Dover Express, Kent. SCUTT - In loving memory of my dear wife Hannah Elizabeth Scutt, who passed away 12th July 1921, aged 59 years - Sadly missed by her Husband, Son & daughters. Also of my dear daughter Louisa Henrietta Scutt, who passed 15th January, 1921, aged 23 years. Sadly missed by her Father, Brother & Sisters.
