Two little boys, aged five and seven respectively, sons of Mr. Martin F. Scudds, were on the landing steps playing, when the younger of the two boys fell into the water,and his brother, in endeavouring to grasp him, tumbled in as well. The parties were married in July 1910. Partititioner said while my wife and I were living in Geelong we agreed to sell the business we were conducting and to separate. The sale realised &1*** and I gave my wife &1100, she obtained employment as a barmaid and we remained friends until 1923. Then there was a quarrel about my losing money at the races.
