Godman, Esq., Piars Thursby, Esq., and E. E. Leigh, Esq. [Swindon Advertiser & North Wilts Chronicle - Monday 09 July 1866. Cricklade. Petty Sessions, - June 30th. (Before Major Prower, Chairman, and the Rev. F. Dyson.), Isaac Cuss of Ashton Keynes, labourer, was summoned by Maurice Scutts, of the same place, labourer, for assaulting him on the 26th of June. Defendant was committed for one month, in March last for an assault on Scutts wife, and since that time he had several times been abusive to the complainant, and on the day in question, he, went to Scutts house and again abused him and assaulted him.
