Customs of manor, &c., &c.] [The names of Eleanor Scutt (daughter of plaintiff Robert by a former wife (Vye), and late sister of defendant Jane), Saml Seare, late of Affpuddle, miller, and Thos. - E 134/5Geo1/Mich37 (1714). R S bur: inside Affpuddle Church - there was a flagstone inscribed: Here lyeth ye body of Robt. Scutt, the husband of Elizabeth Scutt, who departed this life ye 12 day of May Anno 1727, aged 89 years. This stone has been removed to the side chapel, formerly occupied by the organ, when the Church was refloored.] [Will 1727 May 12.]
