Customs of manor, &c., &c.] [The names of Eleanor Scutt (daughter of plaintiff Robert by a former wife (Vye), and late sister of defendant Jane), Saml Seare, late of Affpuddle, miller, and Thos. - E 134/5Geo1/Mich37 (1714). R S bur: inside Affpuddle Church - there was a flagstone inscribed: Here lyeth ye body of Robt. Scutt, the husband of Elizabeth Scutt, who departed this life ye 12 day of May Anno 1727, aged 89 years.
