Scutt, son of Mr. & Mrs. J Scutt, Elm Tree Farm, Eastrington, Howden, and Miss Marjorie Richardson, eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. H Richardson, Thornton House, Barmby Moor. The Rev. A E Sturdy (Vicar of Barmby Moor) and the Rev. H Firby (Vicar of Eastrington) officiated. The bride wore a gown of Ivory angel lace, Tudor rose design, and had six attendants - four principal bridesmaids. Miss Mary Richardson, Miss Joan Hewitt (York), Miss Richardson and Miss Blanche Richardson, and two smaller attendants, Miss Greta Taylor and Miss Mary Watson.
