Jeanes, town clerk of the Glenelg Corporation, with having galloped horses on the beach at a speed exceeding six miles an hour on Sunday, September 10. The evidence showed that the accused, who each pleaded guilty, had raced their mounts along the beach at a speed of between 12 and 16 miles an hour.
