1-1 (Basil Robert Scudds 1902-1959)
[Two Men Aquitted - Walter Henry Victor Taylor 33, and Basil Scudds 32, were charged that at Mascot on March 11 last they assaulted Albert David Groth and robbed him of £1/10/. There was an alternative charge of common assault. By direction Taylor was acquitted by the Jury and discharged...(robbery). Jury returned a verdict of not guilty with respect to Scudds and he was discharged. Mr. P. N, Roach appeared for Taylor and Scudds.
